Works Controls Leader (Edison)GE AviationChristin earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Hartford, a master's degree in mechanical engineering and doctorate in Industrial Engineering from the University of Cincinnati. She is the author of numerous referred journal articles in ergonomic work assessment, vibration analysis and system safety. After starting her career with Pratt & Whitney designing software logic for engine performance and operability, Christin joined GE Aviation as a lead engineer in commercial control systems. She has held positions of increasing responsibility in Engineering, including development and customer flight test assignments.
As a manger, Christin led the Aviation Engines Embedded Software & Prognostics and Health Management, Aviation Systems Chief Engineer’s Office, Safety & Certification, Advanced Technology, Product Security, Edison and Engineering Excellence organizations. In February 2017, she joined GE Aviation Digital as the Digital Embedded Systems P&L leader for the Vehicle Health and Data Management products. In 2021, Christin returned to GE Aerospace Engines to lead the Defense and Systems Controls team. |
